Terms of Service

Mizizi AI ("we", "us") is based in Nairobi, Kenya. You can reach us at amani@mizizi-ai.com. By creating an account or using our services you agree to these terms.

You must give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement, or act for an organisation that can.

• Requesting services and tracking those requests
• Booking calls and meetings
• Uploading and requesting documents
• Chatting with the Mizizi AI team
• Viewing invoices and project progress

Submitting a service request is not a contract. Work begins only once we agree scope, timeline and price in a written proposal or order that you accept. Price ranges on our website are estimates, not offers.

Fees are set out in each invoice or proposal and are in Kenyan shillings unless stated otherwise. Invoices are due by the date shown. Late payment may pause work on your engagement. Taxes such as VAT are added where they apply.

You keep ownership of the documents, data and messages you upload. You give us permission to store and process them only to deliver your services and run the portal. You confirm you have the right to share what you upload and that it does not break the law or anyone else's rights.

• No unlawful, harmful or misleading content
• No attempts to break, probe or overload the portal
• No access to another client's data
• No uploading malware
• No reselling access to the portal

Our tools and assistants can produce mistakes. Check important outputs before you rely on them, especially legal, financial or safety decisions. AI output is not professional advice.

We own the portal, our website and our pre-existing tools and methods. Ownership of deliverables is set out in your proposal. Unless it says otherwise, you own what we create specifically for you once it is paid for, and we keep the right to reuse general know-how.

We treat what you share as confidential and handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

We work to keep the portal available but do not promise uninterrupted service. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for a claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections that by nature should continue, such as ownership, payment and liability, continue after closure.

We may update these terms. When the changes are material we will tell you in the portal or by email. Continuing to use the portal after that means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes go to the courts of Kenya, after we have tried in good faith to resolve them together.
